Misconceptions About Cruise Ships

I believe one of the most misunderstood concepts about cruise ships is the vastness and size of the vessels.  People who haven't cruised before have difficulty imagining thousands of people on board one ship and tend to think you are all packed together like sardines.  They don't understand that it is like it's own floating mini city with restaurants, shops, theaters, etc.   What other misconceptions do people have about cruising?

I think my husband has his qualms since he's never been on a cruise before, but I'm sure he'll do fine.  He had a bad experience ONE TIME on a small boat.  I guess that's all it takes for some people.  I've got him booked so....he's going!  LOLWink

Just make sure he has the drink package ... he will be happy ;)

The drink package helps a lot lol

Good tip! Wink   Thanks OldGreyWolf!  Big Smile

Probably a drink before I tell him he's booked might help too! Wink  lol   I figure, it can't hurt, right?  lol

Not having enough to do is something I hear often.

I love having nothing to do but laze in the sun, people watch, read, listen to the entertainment........

Hey, I'm not saying I agree with 'em... but I do hear that from people.  LOL.

I've also heard that people are bored, but I just don't understand it.
