Making Cruising Affordable .. Do you have a Cruise Kitty?

I quit smoking over a year ago but still take the money I spent weekly on cigarettes and put it in my Cruise Kitty  Do you set money aside for the sole purpose of cruising?

No.. Im loadedBig Smile

My cruise kitty would like to meet you ...

I do have a cat Eloise.  I call her Weezie

I pay down many .months before we go. I throw everything extra at it..making sure I don't pay it off until the last possible minute as RC price matches their own sales as long as you are still paying. I booked a March cruise last month and have gotten a 100 ship credit for promenade room since then. Layaway.

Is Cruise Kitty your incognito name ?    Wink

I use Digit. It takes small amounts out of my checking account and puts it in a separate account. I can withdraw it anytime, put more money in there, and they even took a percentage of my taxes and saved it for me...

Check it out! I love it, my friend got me into it. Saved over $2600 since I joined.

LOL No, but I am try that on my next cruise ...

We have an overall household budget and include vacation spending as a line item. That is what drives our choices and timing.

If I see a cruise I want to do I look for a friend to go and then book it.  No saving up for it,  I have an travel budget........... well I like to think I do but I have gone way over some years and other years did not use much of it.

I quit a year ago as well. I have used the Money for Golf and and a few items. But I do have a Fund which is added to with all excess chance I get.
