Royal Carribean should remove this ship from their fleet

In response to review, CrusinTim says ...

As a matter of fact, the Majesty IS going in 2016. It is being sold. I don't feel that RCCL is going to put big bucks into Majesty now considering the ship sale is complete and the new German line acquiring her will probably do some drydock/refitting work before sending her to sea under their icon.

The noise when dropping the Anchor depends on cabin location.   When booking a ship cabin it is like real estate, Location, Location, Location.  My cabin on the Carnival Glory was all the way forward and oh boy, at 5 am when they dropped anchor I knew it.

Your cabin was 3rd from the front. For a quieter cabin I suggest mid ship, not next to elevator or stairs and not over or under public spaces.  I go to the Vacations to go web site for the ship lay out so I can see what is around the cabin.

RCI tends to send it's older ships off to one of its European cruise lines.  since the ship will be redone for the European market, they will not put any $ into it until that time.  A bit of research before a cruise can make a big difference on the ship you choose or the expectation you have for the trip.

I have been in cabins and know exactly what you mean about the noise.  Now I am very careful about the location of my cabin.  Thanks for sharing.
