Main Dining Room - Carnival

Is there a way to find out which dining room you will be in before you sail? Since there are 2 do you know if they are for specific guests ie: newbie cruisers up to gold in one then other dining room for platinum + members?

Thanks for the info!

No there is no separation by class.  Also you will not know your dining room until you receive your sail and sign card.  It will be printed on the card

Thanks, just as I thought. My last cruise was 10yrs ago & at the time I didn't even think about it :-)

Folks with "Your Time Dining" will be in one dining room and either upper or lower (I have figured out how they decide where to put them yet). After that, as far as I can tell it is "luck of the draw".  It will be listed on you S&S card.

You will be in one of the two MDR’s on the ship you are on.  It would be silly to place you in a dining room on another ship.

then again, it is Carnival

LMAO well now I figured it was safe to assume that I would stay on board the ship & that they weren't about to helicopter me out to another ship just to eat on a daily basis. That's an unnecessary expense! lol

Sorry if my question seemed stupid, basically trying to see if I could find out if our room is close to the MDR or not. We are in the front of the ship so my luck we will be in the dining room at the very back of the ship :-)

It is just one of those things that where passengers do not have the magic formula, but we always want to know.  BAK1061, is not a Carnival fan and he is very sarcastic, but that is why I like him.Wink

Sarcasm is my middle name, I run with the best of them & laugh when I see it. Carnival is what I can afford with 2 young kids still at home hense the 10yr gap since my last (& 1st cruise). lol

I have my detractors.
