Luggage delivery service?

I am considering using a service to deliver our luggage from the ship to our home airport. We're on HAL,  we'll be disembarking in Vancouver, and the service is Luggage Direct.  It seems too inexpensive to me, though.  They charge $19 per person (not per piece) and then of course we pay the airline luggage fees, if any.  Has anyone used Luggage Direct and can steer me in the right direction?  Thank you!

According to the Holland America web page I saw, the price is $25, snd is only available for domestic flights within the USA, so you wouldn’t  be able to use it for your flight out of Vancouver.

We always have used FedEx through HAL and it i included with our price of the longer cruise.  I don't think that FedEx does it for Alaskan cruise.  Sorry I can't be of more help!

Thank you BonMike - I will double-check the HAL website because I thought Luggage Direct specified Vancouver as one of the departure ports for the Westerdam.  Maybe they only serve Vancouver if you're flying within Canada...?

We have used this service for disembarkation in Florida.  We loved it. Yes, it was $25 per person but all you have to worry about is putting your luggage outside your door the night before you disembark.  No standing in that long line to claim your luggage.  You do have to get in line to go through customs, but you don't have to worry about being in line with luggage.  Nor did we have to worry about checking it in at the airport.  We only has to pick up at our home airport.  It was SO much easier just to worry about your carry on.  We thought is was totally worth the price.

Thank you for that info!
