Hi everyone!! I am looking for suggestions for must-sees in Grenada, Barbados and Antigua. We are going 2/11-2/22/19 on Serenade of the Seas. TIA

I will enjoy seeing these answers as we have not been to these islands, and will also be visiting in February on the Carnival Glory (2/16 - 2/28).

Depends on what you like. For me the must sees include the various rum distilleries as sometimes they are the only sites that sell certain aged rums and I have a very large weakness for aged sipping rum. On Barbados that would be Mount Gay. They are also the makers of Doorlys. A fine rum.

Shirley Heights in Antigua. Also, pick up their Cavalier Rum. Best rum you never heard of.

I like rum... we'll see...hmmmm!

I have about 6-7 drinks a year...except when we are on a cruise!!! Hubby doesn't drink at all.

In Grenada, there is a trolley train that takes your around the port. it stops at different areas and you have quite a bit of time to look around. The first stop is at the fort (your train fee includes the price of admission, i think), you then go to a history museum (very interesting), a chocolate factory, and around the carenage area. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon for us. Grenada is a beautiful island. If Barbados we headed to Harbor Lights beach club right on Carlisle Bay. It is a beautiful beach with tranquil turquoise blue water. The cab fare from the port to the club is about $5 per person and access to the beach is about $10--which includes the chair and umbrella.

Thanks! These are great ideas!

Thanks for the info. Where do you get the trolley? How far from the port is it?

I was so excited to see this itinerary I had to book it, a long with many other because it's pretty much sold out now. Lots if research to do since there's so many ports so will look and post what I find. I encourage others on this cruise to do the same.

We'll have to try and meet on the ship. Be sure to check into the roll call by going to https://cruiseline.com/rollcall . There isn't much chatting going on there yet, but should pick up as we get closer.
