Looking for any knowledge, past reviews, suggestions......

Hello Cruising Friends!  I hope everyone is doing well!

I'm apologizing in advance if I am posting this under the wrong topic, but I couldn't decide. So I just went for "General".

We have 49 days until our cruise now and the excitement is really building.  I was reviewing our excursions all booked though Carnival, quite some time ago.  Which now with all the storms I'm glad I did so.  It just relived my stress.

So here is my concern now....   We have a "Tropical ATV Adventure & Beach" excursion booked in Nassau.  This is our "big" excursion that everyone is looking forward too.  All of a sudden it is getting REALLY bad reviews.  Equipment in bad shape, tours not good.  It's been more than one.  I also see the price has dropped.

I'm the novice excursion person here.  I only did one on my first cruise and it was AWESOME!  Now after reading these reviews and comments I'm really nervous and wondering if I should re-think this.

Words of advice and wisdom are very welcomed here!!!!   Thank you!!!

This video was taken Sept 2017 and shows the damage sustained at Clifton Heritage Park:

Additionally, they were hit hard by Hurricane Matthew a year ago....

If it were a $30 or $40 excursion, I may still give it a try but at $100+ I would have concerns as to whether or not an ATV Adventure on an area torn up by hurricanes would really be fun?

Not to be Debbie Downer but just my opinion ....

I agree with DVCruise.

I would also look at the most recent reviews instead of older ones because they will talk of any damage from the recent storms. You can then decide if you want to cancel or still go and experience it for yourselves.

Thanks for the input! Wink

We decided to cancel the excursion and find something else. Thanks again for all of your words of wisdom! Wink

It is nice when the person asking the question comes back and says "thank you". I had no advice for you in this situation, but I greatly admire you for asking and thanking those that could answer your question.

I'm relieved to hear that ..didn't want to be too negative but with the storms/hurricane - I think it would be a nightmare.
