Little known history

Euripides, the great Athenian playwright, was the pen name of a man named Tony.   Now, Tony was, by trade, a tailor.   His writings amused the many of his friends who insisted he publish.  His wife gave him the name from a phrase he often used in the shop.  Someone would bring in a torn pair of pants for repair, and he would invariably say to the customer,   “ hey, how  you rippa dese ? “

and THAT , is little known history.
