LIDO deck cabins.

I like deck 7 or 8 on Carnival ships. Empress and Verandah.  How are the lido deck balcony cabins?  Is there noise and disturbance from the Lido and from the spa areas?

You are going to hear a lot of conflicting advice here about the Lido Deck.  Your preferences are the deciding factor.  As for me, I usually book a lower deck away from noise from the pool music & chair movement noise, sports deck pounding and late night  theater rehearsals. One time my TA booked us on the deck with the front desk & it was not a problem except for two nights where the entertainment took place right there.

I choose deck two or maybe three.  Some times we go higher depending on where the life boats are located.    Some people like to be close to elevators but I steer clear of them, too.  Really it is just a personal choice depending on your tolerance for noise, or walking concerns.  Do you enjoy being close to all the action or do you enjoy your privacy & peace & quiet.

Use a good TA if you are still undecided.
