Lets fire up this always fun topic. No offense intended toward great parents and well behaved kids.

What have you seen concerning snot nosed brats and parents with no respect to fellow passengers.  LOL.  I always enjoy the comments.  Kids are great if they were raised like me.  No way would my parents when I was a child allow me to look like a fool or embarass them at home or a public venue.  NO WAY!  And I am not kidding.

I will start. Aft pool... Carnival Magic...

Kids in pool... A clear leafy spudem floating... Not sure ejected from front end or back end. Nice huh? Hot tub... Me and and a lady were

relaxing. Kid hops in with mask and swims back and

forth all over our legs. Nice huh? At least his dad put an end to it quickly.

Kids running in hall almost knocked hubby off his cane and on his butt. I yelled at them so loud that people's heads popped out of three cabins. Back in cabin, I called security with their cabin number.... which they had conveniently run into after I gave them the business.

For the most part we have been lucky to not have too many disruptive kids on our cruises. But then the venues, length and time of year of all but one were not geared towards kids.

Parents who feel it's ok to bring their kids to the adult only pool. Why ? So they can keep an eye on them. Newsflash, you want to watch them, good, do it in the other pool.

Adults with infants in the hot tubs !!!!!!!!! Really ? Do you realize you are poaching your infant ? Sometimes I feel sorry for the baby. It's not their fault they have stupid parents.

We were in the spa signing up for the Thalossatherapy Spa for the week, when a woman asked if she bought the package, could she bring her infant daughter to the spa pools, and would she be charged full price for the child ? I am here to tell you, there are stupid questions, and they are asked by stupid people. Anyway, when she was told she could not bring the child, she didn't buy the package.

The worse for me is kids running through the public areas like they're the only ones there.

on the Glory a family had 2 cabins, 2 adults and 2 kids, the parents put the kids into one cabin and they took the other cabin, the kids were locking each other out of the cabin and pounding and kicking the door to get let back in. I had to go to the desk and then elevate it to security.

Imagine that. These are some of the people who will then give the cruise a bad review.

I guess we have been rather fortunate that we have not really run into the issue. On our cruises we have not run into a lot of kids, and those that we have seen were well behaved.

On our first cruise , the table next to us one night had three young ones. they actually behaved better than some 20 somethings. We complicated the parents.

But It has been mentioned in this forum , certain ways are available to handle them...Wink..

Yes, I have seen all the misbehavior mentioned. On our last cruise, the parent of the child misbehaving was asked to leave the MDR because other nearby passengers complained. The child & parent left the MDR.

I have asked kids to stop misbehaving & usually they are embarrassed and do stop for the time that I am around. I really get angered when I see kids ruining furniture or just getting out of control yelling and running through the ship. Mostly parents aren't around to see them. They act worse when they are in groups. Staff usually do not want to offend parents by correcting them but I have seen them gently reprimand kids on my last cruise. As more kids are home schooled, more are on cruises throughout the year. Parents, I think, feel that they are on vacation from watching the kids. They expect the staff to watch over them or discipline them.
