Keep an eye on your things while traveling to and from the ship

Another TSA agent busted for stealing:

I don't trust them at all.  Always keep alert and aware of your belongs while traveling to and from your ship.

This is both surprising and disappointing to me ...I have such high expectations of people in that position I guess and naively believe in the "good" in people ...

I tend to just pack carry on bags and anything of value is in my back pack.  (guys can pack light)  Big Smile

We make sure that nothing of value besides out clothes (hey WWE t-shirts are expensive :) ) are in our checked bags.

Glad they caught the scumbag!

I completely agree. There are surveillance cameras everywhere in an airport, so it was only a matter of time before he was caught.

The DH and I transit security close to each other and if there is a "pat down" usually only one of us is selected.  The other person collects the bags that are going through the scanner or at least stands by them until the "pat down" is complete.  Thanks for the "heads- up".

I always recommend that you have replacement body parts such as knees, hips or shoulder, you should have your traveling companion go through security ahead of you to watch the bags as you go through further screening.  That TSA agent could see the cash at the screening.  I hate to read about these crimes.  Now if there were cameras in the baggage department we would probably all be better off, too.  Do you feel comfortable packing your laptop, or tablets in your checked luggage without cameras in the baggage areas?

I'm not sure why someone is recommending we have replacement body parts - mine work just fine. Happy
