That's awful. "Hey, we canceled your 35 day cruise, but here, book this 10-day cruise instead..." :eyeroll:

We’ll keep it simple for Kennicott and have him buy us passage on the same cruise. I want to go down to Mexico, how about you? I’ll keep the price low for him and just go mini-suite.

Golly, Kennicott is such a great guy!

Most irritating thing about this all is that we made these reservations with about 19 months to spare. We chose this 35 day cruise due to the rather unique itinerary and had to work hard and fast at getting a cabin of our choice since wife's sister was traveling with us. The new schedules for this ship appear to be mostly itineraries we have done before, some more than once. With our notice that it is canceled I thought there might be some sort of unacceptable condolence offer made. Not. I have a hunch that Stein Kruse decided to get rid of the Pacific Princess, he has already taken it off the "World Cruise" circuit and it appears to me whenever he reschedules a vessel into the Australia market it is the last step before being sold or the boneyard. We have over three months sailing on the Pacific Princess and like it.

That said, we have about 350 days sailing on Princess and 200 on HAL. Dumped HAL years ago. Stein Kruse has taken over the Holland American Group which Princess is part of. If we cruise again it will probably be on Regent where we have about 150 days total. Trouble with them is lots of $$$$ for only short duration cruises.

Crying Can't like the sad situation. But if you are funding a cruise for your Cruiseline friends, I'll jump on the bandwagon.Wink

Oh wow! I am so sorry to hear that!

Yes I’m sorry about the cruise being cancelled on you. I was out of line with my joking around. I know it’s a huge disappointment.

oh get sure, I will keep it simple, just add on 2Back to my B2B in November

Such an awesome dude!

That really does stink that they cancelled your cruise. It takes us several months to decide on one. Best wishes for a quick resolution for this issue.

Sorry Mr. Kennicott that just sucks big time!

I'll gladly go on the replacement cruise if you're funding it! lol!
