Just Imagine That You Are Designing a Brand New Ship...

You are the chief designing consultant for a brand new ship.  Which one (or two) Feature(s) would you most insist be included in the design?

I would include a smoke-free casino.

Thumbs up to the smoke-free casino!

A truly adult-only recreation/pool area would be another. Not sure how that would work but anything is an improvement over the quasi-adult only areas currently on ships.

I would have it over 21 only and a 24 hour cafe not just pizza and sandwiches for late night snacks.

Having just recently quit smoking I would vote for a no smoking casino. But more into the design would be an adult only pool and sun deck "without the blaring music" and a bunch of kids.

The next would be a higher concentration on fine dining areas and higher quality foods. I would pay extra for that on the initial ticket price., not as an add on to my bill.

All extended balconies to accommodate lounge chairs.

As a taller woman who likes to wear heels I would raise the ceiling in the hallways. Another thing I would incorporate in the designs would be movie rooms. With leather recliners and nice soft blankets where you can sign out a movie and watch it. Something that could come in handy for days at sea or when the weather is not being agreeable

Good idea,cruznjan.

I know what I'd like to see removed....WiFi.   I personally find it offensive that people no longer interact on a ship. Kids keep playing their video games. Adults are often in contact with home or work. Everyone walks with their heads down, looking at their pods, pads, and other personal devices.   The way I see it, a lot of people are wasting their money. Even at the beaches, everyone has to be connected.  Or thinks they have to be.
