Where are all the Carnival ships go if they cannot dock in the u s.? Florida will be a ghost town where all those ships are. The judge is stupid. Fine the helll out of the execs.I believe the judge is a relative of AOC, no common sense.

I agree Corporations and big money rule. That's the way it is, company policy changes are the way.

what does that mean? changing a company policy like this means a bunch of somebodys up on mahogany row have to admit they were wrong and fix it..besides, they have a policy that says its OK to pollute? it also means the BOD wasn't doing its job, and can remove or replace at will..and THAT means the bagholders get hammered in the fallout. NONE of that has happened...its biz as usual....a few moments of discomfort in some po'd Federal Judges courtroom, (which now apparently means almost nothing) and then its off to lunch....it wasn't like they haven't done this before...I'd bet real money most of their passengers never heard of this, and/or didn't care..check their SP.

I'm hearing a lot of bad things about Carnival lately, I wonder what their plans are for fixing issues like this.

Welllllll...its really complicated...how about stopping doing it and lying about it?

That actually makes it sound uncomplicated. They may need folks with common sense and integrity on their board of directors.

My point exactly. That's what BOD's are supposed to do, provide oversight so that senior execs, notably CEO's, can't do this kind of stuff on their watch. The fact that its happened twice, means several things to me. First, its probably happened fleetwide and they haven't been caught...(what, you think CAPTAINS and ENGINEERS don't talk to each other?) and second, since the BOD didn't do anything the first time, that they're complicit in it. Oh, I forgot the third thing...business is booming, so nobody cares....
