Is Asia a Destination in Your Future Cruising Plans?

It seems that more river and ocean cruise ships are heading to Asia. Does this area of the country interest you?

I visited Asia for the first time last year and thoroughly enjoyed the area. I loved the exotic palaces, temples and culture. I decided to revisit the area again next year. Even my husband who initially had no interest in the area enjoyed the experience.

I have thought of visiting China since I was a child, the art, architecture, and style have always intrigued me. I'm dreaming of a river cruise through China or Vietnam. I want to see the Great Wall, the Terracotta solders, the Temples, Palaces and Angkor Wat.

Im hoping to go in the next few years when I can find a friend that has the time off work to go and explore with me. I see Asia as a 1 month or longer trip mixing land, sea and river cruises.

I think it started from my Grandmother who's house was done in Chinese Modern furniture and paintings when I was a growing up. That sparked my interest that I still have today.

We have looked into an Asia River Cruise, Maybe when I retire.

Very much so. Although I think that may be a solo cruise as my cruising partner (mother atm) has NO interest whatsoever in the area. I wish to see quite a lot of Asia such as China, Malaysia etc. It is a long held dream of mine.
