Insulated Bag

I  purchased a large insulated bag to carry on our beverages, etc.

Would it be considered a cooler?

Best to check directly with the cruiseline.

Also, be sure to check the cruiseline limitations on what beverages can/cannot be brought onboard.  Several changes have been made in recent years, so always best to check again before each cruise.

Enjoy, and welcome to the forum!!

I believe the cooler rule is in place due to the space it takes up when not in use.

As an insulated bag, I do not believe it would be classified as a cooler.

Grandma Jo is correct that you should check with the individual cruise line to be sure though. No matter how loudly I express my opinion, they rarely obey me  :D

I’ll just, ya know, keep my opinion to myself.   This time.

Probably is considered a cooler and most cruise lines will not allow you to bring your own beverages onto the ship. They would rather sell you their own Wink ..... has something to do with padding the profit margin Wink

That's what crossed my mind.

Would have to agree.

Tell them it’s a thermal bag, and you only want to keep things warm because the soda on board is too cold.   Just, try to keep a straight face.

Haha.. thats a good one...Big Smile
