Are you limited to the number of bags you can bring aboard.?

Not really, but the cruise lines tend to suggest 2 bags per person.  Also there isn't a lot of storage area in your cabin for the empty bags.  It is also recommended that the weigh about 50 pounds.  If you fly to the port you are already limited.

For a weeklong cruise, you should be easily able to pack into one suitcase and one carry-on per person. Kids should be able to split between the parents' suitcases.

The lines do not have a limit, but there is only room under the bed for 2 suitcasesBig Smile. Any more than that, and you will be tripping over them.

Thank you BDRebel, good info.

Also depending on how may days the cruise is.  You will find you really don't need to over pack.  On a 7 day cruise I bring 8 shirts, 3 pants and plenty of underwear as well as pool clothes and shoes.  As BD said. One case and a carry on works just fine

I agree with everyone. I like BD said remember your suitcases will slide under the bed.

2 bags per person is good.

My bet is a person who has never cruised b4, like FREDDY, would probably way over pack....besides, if he's a family man, he won't get a vote.  But by his second, I'm sure he'll be experienced enough...

Thanks Toddtecruiser,  very helpfull

Keep in mind that although there may not be a hard cap on the number of bags there is a limit on the cabin space and places to store said baggage

Hey TODD, if memory serves, you cruise SOLO?  you could probably get away with a paper bag....(j/k!!) other folks aren't in charge of that aspect heheheh ONCE, just ONCE, I suggested we could get away with ONE medium suitcase and a carry on for the important stuff....baaaad idea.....now I just take the path of least resistance...as long as we can manage it to "walk off", I stay out of her way whilst packing...
