I'm not bringing the suit this time.

I'm bringing my birthday suit and my swimming suit but not the one I'm wearing in my photo.. This has been touched on before... Am I making a mistake?  I'm going solo.  Last trip I dressed up and sat alone

It's easy for a man... Yet, I don't think I'll bring it this year.  I have new slacks and a shirt I just bought... That'll do for the steak house and I might as well skip formal night.  Yet this time I have early dining so I might have a nice table with good people.

A little birdie told me that the European hottie loves a man in a suit ... personally, I am a sucker for a man in a suit even if he were standing in my back year .... take the suit ... what's one more little item ....

One cruise the DH decided to dress down, and he found himself uncomfortable.  He might go without and tie and wear a sport coat rather than a suit, but still several notches above the rest.  It is so versatile, and packing a tie (just in case) takes a minimal amount of space.  Here is a photo of some ideas:

Thanks... I don't like lugging it around and I don't like it creased and folded in my luggage.  I pack one checked bag and a carry on..  That's kinda my issue.  Now... WHEN!   I get a babe...  She can pack it for me.  You dames all over pack.   Kidding.. Kinda... Back to the point is People are getting away from it.  I felt overdressed at dinner even though I was smashing good looking over the folks who dressed down.  I thought about this last trip as why bother?

Oops.. I'm gonna get slammed... What I meant is folks don't do it much so if you can't beat em join em.  No

. I'm not a follower either....

You won't know if you find the more casual look comfortable until you try it. You can always go back to the suit on the next cruise. Because most cruisers seem to be going more casual, was mad the DH try the casual look.  He has found the sport coat a nice compromise.

I have so many very dressy things from when the DH was active duty that cruises are the only place I have to wear them, now.  So when the DH take a suit or sport coat, he has a "hang-up" bag and my dress goes into it as well. Big Smile

Yep... Pinkie.. That's my thinking this trip... Go casual.. If I feel I wish I dressed up I'll know for next time... Good point.. That's what I'll do.

I'm taking 2 this cruise.

Birthday suit?  I'm not in my 20's and cut.

No matter how careful I pack, my birthday suit is always wrinkled ...

Too funny!

When I don't feel lugging the suit, I just take a shirt and tie and wear a sport coat on the plane. Which now days is good enough for formal night.
