I'm earning my vacation

One of my coworkers asked if I was ready for the cruise... Although I haven't packed and am not embark ready... I'm READY... I don't think that I've ever felt the need or that I have earned a vacation like I have right now... Slightly sad because I'm a hard worker, and can't enjoy life more than a few weeks a year. Sad

Who else is with me?!?

I certainly understand.  I would love to have the ability and funds to sail more frequently.  I guess that's why we work hard, so that we can "earn" and fund the passion.

Congratulations for being a hard worker ... retirement comes way faster than you can ever imagine and with that - your day will come to being a "cruisin fool" like I am

Two weeks since my last cruise, 7 months until my next, and I am ready!Big Smile

It would be a shame if you caught the 24 hour bug the day before your trip -- you would have to call in sickWink

Luckily I am now in retirement and can choose any cruise I want at any time of the year that I want.  It is a good feeling.  Continue to work hard and before you know it, retirement will be around the corner.  Everyone needs a change of scenery now & then.  Cruising is a great way to get it.  I know that you will enjoy your cruise.  Have fun!

Trust me, I can't wait! I just have to make sure I have my cruise fund straight before anything happens with retirement. But that is a ways away for me Crying I'm very jealous of all the retired cruisers. Must be the life!

Don't forget to save some so that you can cruise whenever you wish when you retire.  We can go whenever we want because we did just that.
 Enjoy your trip.

We’re right there with you!  Working 7 days a week, mostly 16+ hours a day, but that’s how we can travel for a few weeks every year!

So ready!!  I work from home, but just because my employer was kind enough to allow me to do so when we moved for DH job.  I still have normal office hours, but I work extra evenings and weekends when necessary, and it's been necessary a lot lately Crying  Looking forward to being totally disconnected.

I'm thinking about being a really crotchety old lady so the kids will send me on cruises just so they can get some peace Big Smile
