I Bring my Own ....

Floating Lounge Chair of course.

It weighs less than 2 lbs ... lays flat in my suitcase and has a mesh tote bag you carry it in which holds my other "shore/ocean gear" when in port.  I have rented floats but often want to explore multiple beaches and got tired of renting.  I refuse to go to the Caribbean without it.

Snorkeling equipment.

I will bring my snorkeling equipment the next time I cruise. I have it but am always worried about the weight of my suitcase though.

I put my snorkel gear and towel in the mesh bag ...it doesn't zip but works.  Then once inflated, I just carry the raft blown up back on the ship.  Security laughs but it goes right through. This one sustains weight up to 250 lbs ... my son has a larger heavier one with a back but it supports more weight.

Cameras and lenses of course.  I usually bring at least one film camera too.  It could be a fun image altering type ( Lomo Pop 9 ), or something great for street shooting ( Olympus Trip 35 ).    I need to take a cruise so I can bring my Viewmaster camera and make up some reels.

Sounds like a neat idea.  Is it hard to inflate?
