Welcome to the forum.

Just saw the latest weather update. Yes, get prepped and stay safe. Keep us posted on your status down there.

Weather man media hype... fake news...hope this hype doesn't affect too many cruises.  It is funny about the hype...no bottled water to buy..which is weird.  If we are going to get 30 inches of rain, you can catch your water

Welcome to the forum. Stay safe.

We are following the storm here. Stay safe. let us know how it goes.

Welcome!  Stay safe

We are just West of Houston and so far just very light rain. Sorry for the ones further down the coast.

Just heard on the news that 20,000 people are "stranded" on cruise ships that can't get back to port ... the sea appears calm so hopefully they're having fun ...

Yes, hear the ports were closed. People in some areas of Houston have water into the second floor of their houses. We are West of Houston and on a hill. Roads flooded but ok at home. I had heard that some of the cruises docked in La. to refuel and stock up on food. In about a weeks time we have had drought, burn bans, eclipse, earthquake, hurricane, floods. We give our all here in Texas
