Hurricane Dorian

Hello,

We are schedules to fly out of Charleston,SC, Friday morning. So far the airport has not shut down. AAA is a agent for this cruise. Went by there today and they were closed and boarded up. I went to the site for AAA and United and not much help there. Have any of you all been in a situation like ours and what did you do? We are so frustrated at the moment.

Thanks for any help/insight you can give me.

I realize you didn't book through the cruise line, but I would call them direct. Princess MAY have a hot line for this situation, Carnival does. It is an alert system where you give them you cell number and they will contact you regarding delays, cancellations, etc. Good luck,

What is the destination city? Is it possible to drive?

Have you tried calling the AAA 800 number? (when I try the AAA website, I get the 888-765-0766 number)

I called the numbers and ended up talking to an agent in Southern California. After being transferred a couple of time, I spoke to an agent in Columbia. She got an answer to my question: Princess is keeping an eye on the hurricane and will call us if there are any changes. Of course, after going through all of this, our airport reported that they were closing but would be opened again at 6:00 Friday morning.

So thanks for your help.
