How Do You Occupy Your Time on Sea Days?

Many people tell me that they don't cruise because they are afraid that they will get bored on sea days. What do you do to keep busy on these days at sea?

On the Behind The Fun tour, chillin in the Hot tub, sitting on the balcony watching the sea pass by.....

I like to find a window seat where I can read and look out at the ocean. (And last cruise, I might possibly have been caught napping while leaning against a warm window Surprised )

On Carnival, tea is severed at 3:00PM and with a group I enjoy that. I visit the casino and chat with friends. We play a lot of min-golf and there is the peaceful feeling of watching the ocean. There are all sorts of activities on the ship and it is easy to be so busy I lose track of time. Sea days have never been boring.

I typically work 12 hr days at home. We also do an excursion or tour at every port, to learn about the culture or create a new memory (for a previously visited port). So a sea day for me is like a vacation from my vacation, LOL! I sleep late, do the brunch, fix a drink, earbuds in and lounge for the rest of the day on the balcony.

I sit in the bars listening to the music, people watch, may donate to the Casino, sit on deck, etc. Basically, I just completely unwind.

I tend to read, download and edit my photos. Oh, I do go to the gymCrying

So do I.

I walk in, then walk right back out!Big Smile

I love sea days! I mostly spend my days with a cool drink and a chair on the Lido. Some snacks here and there and the deck games are always fun (DH and I are VERY competitive haha).

I LOVE sea days, it is what cruising is all about. I knew I liked a couple of sea days in a row, then when I did a transatlantic cruise and had 7 of them in a row....... that's how to live. Sleep in, get breakfast or sea day bruch, do some laps or hit the gym a bit, some ship activities, lunch, find a window seat and break out the e-reader for a bit (sneak an ice cream cone late afternoon) hit the adults only deck to relax with a drink or 3, some time in the hot tub.......... ahhhhhhh sea days.

Waiting for Happy Hour on one of those dam ships Happy
