Hot Tub Hogging & Children in Hot Tubs

Do people not realize it is not healthy to sit in a hot tub for hours on end and even worse for young children...Should children not be allowed in hot tubs anyway?

I know I will get badgered but I wish children were totally not allowed in the hot tubs.  Even young teens.  My last cruise on Magic I was in the starboard deck 5 tub with one other person.  A kid hopped in and started snorkeling back and fourth running over my legs.  I didn't say anything and thankfully the father showed up and straitened him out.

I know this topic has come up before.... I find that if you hold the little rug rats under for a few minutes they leave the adult tubs pretty quickWink. I have a big hot tub at home and ten minutes is usually long enough., but on the cruise, with a cold beer I will give it 15.

This is a pet peeve that did not come up on the pet peeve list. Many of the NCL ships have a kids only area and there are usually 2 hot tubs in there. They will sit empty all day while the unsupervised kids splash in the adults hot tubs.

DO any of the cruise lines post "Adults Only" at the various hot tubs?  I don't recall seeing it on Princess.

Not adult only but children under 11 are supposed to be accompanied by an adult. Not running loose on their own.

Children should be properly supervised. However, I see this less and less.

Why I love the solarium... No kids. I always like to go from hot tub to pool... Opens my pours and feels so nice!
