Hidden Money

I always travel with a hidden hundred dollar bill that is marked DO NOT USE FOR EMERGENCY ONLY whenever I travel.  Do you carry "hidden money" for emergency? I know a hundred dollars won't buy much but I've done it for years.

I always have hidden money. Not just for travel. I also have money hidden in my wallet and my purse. Not a large amount, no more than $50. It has come in handy many times.

The best is when you find it months later when cleaning a purse or clothing out!

I always put some aside.

Is it really marked that way? Did you actually write on the money or did you just stick a port-it note on it?

Wrote on it lol lest I be tempted ....

I don’t need to do this to keep myself from spending the money, but I am absolutely going to write it on bills for fun!Big Smile Imagine the look on the face of a bartender or casino dealer when I hand them the bill!Yummy

Yes I do, passed on to me by my Dad. His belief was always have around $200, you never know when you will need it or a sweet deal presents itself.

Absolutely. It is always a good plan.

I tend to carry $ 200.00 on me at most times..... never know when you need cash and plastic will not work.

I'm not sure we can consider it hidden, but we definitely split up our cash into different locations in our travel gear.
