Help Needed

Was thinking of booking the 7 night IOS cruise from Southampton to France, Spain & Portugal in October 2019, has anyone done this ?, and if so what was it like, and how was the weather ?

I have never taken this cruise but it has to be great.  Look at all the interesting ports you will visit.

The only concern is The Bay of Biscay in October.

I have not done this exact cruise but I have been in Italy, France and Spain in late October to late November a few times and the weather was not bad.  We had a little rain and it was cool,  50's some days for a high.  We did fine with just a heavy fleece jacket on.   It was colder and rained more when we landed in Seattle.

I appreciate your reply, but I'm assuming your trip was a Mediterranean cruise if you flew from the states, the cruise we are thinking of is on the Atlantic coast of France, Spain & Portugal.

One of my cruises was from Rome to Florida,  a Transatlantic,  another was in and out of Rome to the Greek Islands and Italy,  another was  From San Juan to South Hampton,  another Transatlantic with a week in London after it and another just a week in Venice Italy,  The most rain we had was in the UK.  The sea's we smooth except for the English Channel was rocking a bit,  made it difficult to play mini Golf.

Hope it will be a great cruise, we are going on the Sapphire Princess this October,  to the same locations.

I can't helpNervous  I've only been on six cruises all withwith CCL to the Caribbean.  Someday I'll branch out.  Have fun...

We have sailed across the bay in October and November on the IOS, yes it can be a bit lumpy but we have had worse in the Med at that time of year. It could also be flat calm, it is one of those things you will have to take a chance with. It will still be warmer than the UK...
