Hawaiian Cruise?

Has anyone taken a Hawaiian cruise? What was your experience? Going to Hawaii is on my bucket list so I was thinking about booking one a little way out since it is more expensive than the usual cruise. What was your experience? Any tips/advice?

TIA

In my opinion, if you have the time to do a 15 day voyage, do it. It is many sea days but they are so relaxing. You're relaxing both before and after being around the Hawaiian Islands. Princess especially I know, has great kids activities as well as plenty to do for adults. Hoping to get my mom on this cruise soon.. she's never been to Hawaii.

I just got an email from Princess that they are offering special rates for the 15 day RT from LA. I didn't look at the details (shows 1899 for a balcony, normally 2699)

I have been to Hawaii several times both on land tours and on cruises. Hawaii is one of my favorite destinations. If you cruise from the mainland, you won't have jet lag - just some time to explore the ship & its amenities. Have a great cruise.

I was on the Pride of America this past May. We loved it. The staff was wonderful. The cruise is port intensive and there are no sea days. NCL allows you to maximum your time in both Maui and Kauai as you over night in each.

would love to cruise here. Maybe one day. Have heard a lot of good reports.

We did a Princess 28 day cruise last October Which was the Hawaiian Islands and the South Pacific out of LA. Not sure the same itinerary is still offered. Some of the itinerary's now include Australia.

The cruise was awesome. You have to like Sea days. We so enjoyed it. Now spoiled we would not take anything under atleaat 14 days.

We do Hawaii a lot, mostly by air, maybe half a dozen times by ship. Hawaii is a lot more lush than the Caribbean. Over the last 11 months we have cruised twice there. Once on the way to Sydney, then on the way back by air spent a week at Waikiki, then a few months ago we did Florida to Honlulu, on the way did two days and one night on Maui before sailing to Honolu where we spent a little time again on Waikiki.
