I have now, thanks BonMike.

I'm waiting for the next class of ship -- hopefully along the lines of the one they scrapped.

Another new ship? Where does all that money come from??

Savings from cancelling the chocolate on the pillow, no doubt!Big Smile

In New Zealand and Australia Carnival ships are for the younger seen so I did not enjoy my cruise with themSad

I am also not a Carnival fan the staff on the Spirit not at all helpful our friendly

Carnival is for the young and the young at heart, however it is not for everybody. I'm not sure what other lines sail there, but perhaps Princess or Celebrity may be more to your liking?

deconz - I've never experienced a problem with Carnival staff -- I think they rate near the top of the scale. Perhaps it may have been an "off" cruise?

If you liked the ship otherwise, perhaps you may want to give them another try.

Maybe because cruising has become so popular and priced so more people can afford to cruise.

We've cruised only with Carnival, out of Long Beach and Florida, and there are people of every age onboard. We love that it keeps us feeling younger, they are relaxing if we want or full of fun for the days we choose to take part in activities.
