Just wanted to know if any of you have met a member of this site on a cruise?

Have you ever met a Cruiseline.com member on a cruise?

We are such a nice group and I too, would like the Tee to wear on a cruise. Even if I didn't meet up with someone from the site, it would help advertise it.
I agree. The tees are great advertising. So many times conversations get started over what a tee says. I hope we get ours soon. I am leaving in January. I was hoping to get my package before that but it doesn't look like that is happening. Too bad.
Yes, but in most cases you have to make the first move. The officers and crew don't want to intrude on your privacy so they don't initiate a conversation (except for the usual "good morning" or "everything ok?"
But if you take the initiative, they are friendly and in a few minutes you'll know their whole family and history.
Very true and some are just more outgoing than othersl
Simon: They are way behind in sending out the Packages. I did get my First Mate package but nothing since then as I hit Cruise Director, Staff Captain or Captain. I was looking forward to the T-shirt to wear on cruises to try and meet other Cruiseline.com members.
I think meeting other members would be fun as we tend to be such a nice group

Apparently I was seated near one on my last cruise -- had the same wait staff in the MDR (according to a reply to my cruise review). Wish I knew who it was!
It is too bad most don't message on the roll call.

I don't know what else we can do to promote the Roll Calls besides encouraging newcomers to register on them.
I am the only one on the roll call for my next two cruises leaving messages. Others sign up but aren't keeping in touch.

I have left several messages on my next two roll calls but no one else has done so. I am going to keep messaging.

So far, everyone who has commented on this thread should have received their Second Mate Prize Pack, which includes the Ship Mate door sign. Display it proudly on your cabin door!
I still have not received anything so far, Simon. It is very discouraging. It sounds like most of us have not. Is there a problem? When can we expect a shipment? If it is not going to happen, perhaps the site should consider removing the offer from the Website. Gloria
I wanted to add that we would enjoy meeting but the opportunity has not presented itself as yet. Never say never.
I observe what we can do to encourage more participation.
