Have you ever done a "Themed" cruises?

I just saw a commercial for the Soul Train themed cruise and wondered if it really is a fantastic voyage. Tom Joyner (Radio Host) has a cruise every year to raise money for HBU's. Themed cruises seem to be popping up everywhere and I wanted to know if they are anymore fun the a regular cruise.

CommunityMangr I think I will stick with the family and friends cruise. The knitting cruise seemed a bit to fast paced for me. LOL!
I've never done one but I'd love to do a food & wine cruise. A music cruise would also be great, though I'm not sure I love one band enough to listen to them for a week straight!
I'd go on a themed cruise, but it really depends on the theme. I'm a huge 311 fan, and I've always wanted to go on their cruise. They reserve an entire ship (this year it was the Norwegian Pearl), sail from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay and play a show almost every day. I don't think they're doing it in 2014, though :(
I have cruised on few Jazz cruises , they are fun ,good music
@GTVCRUISER -- I love jazz! Who were some of the featured musicians?
A jazz cruise sounds great. Any recommendations?
I sailed on 2 Jazz Cruises , I remember Norman Brown , Bob James , Larry Carton , Michael Mcdonald , Paul Taylor , that is all I can think of right now
