Has anyone taken a cruise to NE/Canada? Did you enjoy it?

I'm thinking about taking my first cruise for 7 days to NE/Canada on a Princess ship this fall and I was wondering how other peoples experiences were. The ship leaves from NYC and goes to Newport, Boston, St.John, and Halifax.

Never did it on Princess, but it's a great cruise for adults. Not really great for kids since no beaches are involved.  Peggy's Cove is a long ride, but a must see.  It's a very relaxing cruise.

In Boston, head over to Quincy Market for some chowdah.

Princess leaves from Red Hook Terminal ( Brooklyn )  I think, and not NYC Pier 88.

What's UEFA ?  If you don't mind me asking.

United European Football Associations, I love soccer lol.

Thank you for your reply! I would love some chowder! Its one of my favorite soups. Thats good, I don't want to be on a cruise with a bunch of kids.

We prefer early fall.  It's a little cooler, but the foliage colours are great.

Really like them. Click on my profile and read my review starting in October 2015 and going backward for two others. On Princess all of them.

We did a 5 day to St John and Halifax for our first cruise. Very relaxing. The highlight for me was the Bay of Fundy - very cool to see if you're into nature type stuff. The tidal range is incredible.

We did that exact cruise a few years ago and absolutely loved it!  It is a completely different experience than a Caribbean cruise (which is what most first-time cruisers choose) but relaxing and enjoyable with amazing scenery.

Sorry everyone, but I have to mention.......

in St. John, not far from the ship, and in Halifax, down the boardwalk, look for the Beaver Tail sellers.  They are fried dough with toppings.  They are a must have snack.

You'll thank me when you get back
