Has a cruise line ever misplaced or lost your luggage?

I have never had my luggage misplaced or lost on a cruise.  My brother-in-law had his bag lost for most of a cruise but it was retuned to him just a couple do days before the completion of the cruise.  My sister's luggage was misplaced for several hours on another cruise.  Her luggage tags had come off.

I have never had a problem and the only time I saw an issue was on our Panama Cruise. The airline had lost the luggage of one of the passengers and she sailed without her stuff.

We arrive a day ahead of the cruise to ensure we have no trouble, from delays of weather or luggage loss. I believe a little caution and preparation ahead of any trip or event saves a great deal of grief.

I agree,  on my upcoming cruise we are flying out two days early just in case.  We want to do some sightseeing also before the cruise.  Gloria
