Hanging in the Promenade

Do you like to hang out in the promenade area in the ships that have them? I find myself getting a coffee or other drink and sitting and watching all the people traffic. I tend to do this early or late when things have slowed down.

We do enjoy the Promenade, but Lido deck is still our favorite place for people watching :)

My favorite place to people watch is the Lido. Always something interesting up there!

There are so many spots to sit and watch folks on board a ship, We like to walk the promenade as much as possible, We also like to top deck areas.

We are like johngold, we walk the Promenade as much as possible.  We usually walk the Lido during the day and the Promenade in the evening. Depends on the weather and the mood.

I like the large RCI ships with the Main Street Promenade,  great place to get a drink, people watch and watch the shows that they out on on the bridge over the street.

We do the same.

I love the Princess atriums --  wide open and easy to relax with a beverage. As far as the promenade decks, unless there is something there (usually it seems just lifeboats) like the Carnival Magic (to name just one), I will only go to ingest some nicotine.

Yes, it is fun to people watch here and to strike up conversations with others on board who I wouldn't otherwise get to meet.

Always watch people from a variety of decks. sometimes interesting on the upper decks looking down at the goings on. Sometimes seeing the bigger picture tells a story all on its own.
