GPS on Luggage

My new luggage offers GPS tracking which I have not pursued or activated. Does anyone use this?

Interesting! We have been considering RFID tags but had not thought about GPS. Will be very interested to hear who has used it and the plusses / minuses.

I guess I'm not with the times. This is the first I've heard of GPS tracking for luggage. Great concept.

Wonderful idea. Surprised no one has thought of this before. And if you turn on your tracking device and see your luggage fleeing quickly from you just remember it is not running away ... some nice attendant put it on the wrong flight. But at least you will know where it went.

On a 7 day cruise I bring the essentials I need. Even though they are easily replaced it would suck if they were lost. Anything of value I carry with me. So if your luggage goes one way and you go another you still have to make tbe ship. Not sure if I see tbe value in GPS.

That would be helpful if your airline frequently "looses" your bags, or even a delay in your bags getting to the cabin.

SO this is the info tag from the luggage... I bought this luggage in the most unusual spot - - super reduced price!

What an incredible idea. I cannot wait to see this in action. Will we be able to pin point the location by just logging into a computer?

Now. If they could do the same for keys and golf balls......Wink

Bluesmart Luggage has gps and a built-in usb charger port. Very very pricey however

Great idea but I only have carry on for less then 14 night trips.
