Got my official Guest Advisory for my July Cruise

It looks like they plan to start in July with only 4 ships Vista & Breeze out of Galveston and Horizon out of Miami and Miracle out of Seattle.. last rumor I had heard was only Galveston and Miami.

It looks as though my family and I will be on one of the very first to set sail (July 19th) depending on what the kid's situation is since he can't get a vaccine.. I am cautiously excited.

While we continue to work toward a July restart, it will be focused on four ships:

Carnival Vista from Galveston, beginning July 3. Carnival Horizon out of Miami, beginning July 4 (pending clarification on whether cruises longer than 7 days will be permitted. If not, Carnival Horizon 6 and 8-day itineraries, after and including July 10, will be modified to 7-day cruises and we will let you know of the revised itinerary. Note: The July 4th cruise will remain a 6-day voyage). Carnival Breeze out of Galveston beginning July 15. Carnival Miracle, out of Seattle, beginning July 27, assuming Carnival Freedom’s itineraries to Alaska (pending approval from U.S. and Canadian authorities on a solution to allow our Alaska cruises to operate).

We recognize there is still some uncertainty in our plans to operate these voyages. Guests booked on these sailings who wish to make alternate summer vacation plans, may cancel without penalty by May 31, 2021, and receive a full refund. Please note you will not be eligible for any retroactive compensation should these sailings eventually cancel.

Regrettably, the following embarkations have been canceled as we are unable to ramp-up our crew for the balance of our fleet given the necessary timeline for resuming guest operations:

July 1 through and including July 10 − Carnival Breeze (Galveston). July 1 through and including July 30 − Carnival Conquest and Sunrise (Miami), Dream (Galveston), Ecstasy (Jacksonville), Glory (New Orleans) Elation, Liberty and Mardi Gras (Port Canaveral), Panorama (Long Beach), Pride (Baltimore), Sensation (Mobile) and Sunshine (Charleston).

Due to a ship deployment change, the following embarkations are also canceled:

July 2 through and including September 20 – Carnival Miracle (Long Beach). The ship will be repositioning to Seattle to operate Alaska cruises this summer, pending approval from authorities.

Thank Pinky.. It stings a little more being so darn close!! But, since it's all made up of FCC's I am not out of any money and I don't have to wait for a refund and we will eventually get to go. I will say what I said this time last year.. Surely by then, things will be better LOL

Gotta stay positive, right? Wink

Sorry D. I had thought that they would have found a workable compromise for the un-vaccinated child question, but that doesn't appear to be the case, at least not for now.

We decided to re-book for next March over our daughters weeklong spring break. We did it for a few reasons, but one of them is because it's only a nine month wait instead of twelve. Something to consider perhaps?

I am looking into that right now!! HA HA! I also am going to talk to the hubby and see if we could try to go without the kiddo.. I know that is selfish, but dang it!! I am sure we will just rebook so we all can go. We had other friends and family going, and I told them all they don't have to rebook just because we can't go.

If we can't go over holidays or spring break, June or July will be a done deal. What's one more year, right? Crying Yummy

So the saga continues.. I received an email last night stating there will be a limited number of unvaccinated passengers allowed on the July sailings. Had a link to fill out to be but on a list to be considered...I am not getting my hopes up..Although I was pretty quick to get it back (5 min after it came in) so maybe that will help.

Just glad I decided to wait to rebook, one last chance is OK with me.

Hey.....allright. I'll bet that's part of the 5% of unvaccinated guests that the CDC is allowing on the ships. Hope you get it. Good luck.

Thanks!! I've seen some people post that their PVP's told them that children under 12 that were booked prior to June 7th will be approved to go...I don't buy it. But hope that since we've been booked for over a year it will help our chances.

Hope it works in your favor.!!!

Thank you Pinky!! I feel like an addict..I keep checking my emails every 10 min to see if I have gotten anything.

I even have been answering all weird calls, but none have been Carnival. Angry
