My Grandson has one of these & I was wondering if anyone on the site uses one on cruises? Are you satisfied with the quality of the photos and videos? My grandson used his on a recent bike trip in the French Alps? The captain on a recent HAL cruise that I took uses his for time lapse photos from the bridge.
GoPro Camera- Do You Have One Or Thinking About Getting One For Cruises?
I have a Go Pro 4 basic not bad.
my son has one and mounts it on the rail during sail away from ports...awesome quality...speeds to view...he has all the gadgets that go with too
I have thought of getting one...... well one of the knock offs to start with and see how much I use it before i drop big bucks to get the real thing.
We have the SonyCam, but I know if I brought it, and tried to do a videography of a cruise, it would just annoy my wife.
I may try to bring it next cruise, who knows ?
Thinking about it for other things as well. I want it to be small enough and light enough not to interfere when I use it for Golf, or cruising or even day to day stuff.
I don't use half of the "fancy dancy" gadgets I have now. So I doubt it. What I need to do is use what I have. I bought a fish eye cam a couple years ago and haven't used it ten times since. I know if I bought a GoPro the same thing would happen.
I bought a knock off GoPro off the Wish app that cost me about 40 bucks and it has all the attachments and waterproof casing. Video quality is HD and if I ever lose it, I am out 40 bucks. THey work great underwater when snorkeling!
I've been thinking of getting one to mount to my motorcycle.
I could then get a youtube channel for "Idiot Drivers of Texas"
Of course, then there would be evidence of my stupid decisions
My favorite search are the words skateboard fail
