Good reviews of Mathew cruises

In looking over the new incoming reviews I was pleased to see reviews that gave good rating even though they went to different ports.   Nice to see some people that know how to vacation and roll with the punches.Big Smile

I know! I enjoy those that still made the most of what they had. And with Nicole barreling towards Bermuda, we will see how others feel about her.

LOL this hurricane past made us kinda of chuckle to ourselves.  See, when we booked our cruise, we booked with the Norwegian Sky and it was supposed to go to Nassau, Freeport and their private island but 2 months after booking they called and said that that port was cancelled due to renovations.  So we cancelled Norwegian and went with Carnival because this is the 2nd time they changed on us.  Well, the funny part was because of the Hurricane the Norwegian Sky followed us to Key West and Cozumel.  So I guess you could say we were destined to go that route anyways!

I think that is why I like scheduling a cruise during hurricane season - the element of knowing that you may get a surpriseHappy

One review that had the best title was "Make Lemonade"   They had a great time and went to ports they would not have booked and turned out to enjoy those ports.

For some, thy do not like surprises... I can see when you have your heard set on one thing, and can't make lemonade out of lemons

I don't think we'll be going to Freeport. Possible alternates are Grand Turk, Key West or Half Moon Cay.

We’ve never had any major itinerary changes but I think we would really enjoy surprise ports!Happy

Yes, just being on a cruise is great no matter what the ports are.  Everyone should want to be safe and understand the reason for the changes.
