Going up front and being part of the show

I mentioned in another thread that I got to go up front and be part of the comedy show. It was during my second cruise on the Carnival Inspiration. I’ve been in front of large groups before and I thought the experience was fun. Unfortunately didn’t lead to meeting any chicks.

Anyone else have the experience of being up front as part of any type of show on a cruise?

One time I sat in the front row and the comedian was messing with me. It was fun

We stay far in the back at the shows in the theatre so we won't be chosen. We haven't yet been to any of the comedy shows.

Such a wimpHappy

I feel like part of what I’m paying is for the entertainment. If I’m the entertainment, why aren’t they paying me?!? Wink

Yup Big Smile

Good point! I should write Carnival Corporation a letter. Might have to lawyer up at $300-$400/hour but the $1.95 I get from Carnival will be a win since it's all about the principal of the thing.

I went to a Don Rickles show in Reno one time. Tipped the Maître d' $10 to make sure I was seated in the middle of the room to make sure I never became the focus of entertainment.

I was called on stage by the comedian on the Magic. He was having me raise my arms and do something or other. I told him he just wanted to see my arm fat jiggle. Got a bigger laugh at his expense than he did at mine Big Smile

My husband refuses to sit up front any more after he became part of a Can Can number & another time had to sing Figaro as part of a comedy act. Too funny.

Monique and I want to do the dating game show, and shows like that. But we often get to do the dancing. We have won a few times... nice bottle of bubbly...
