Carnival Glory docked in Miami the other day because of some problem. Now I hear last night on her way to Grand Cayman, she hit really bad weather. The ship was rocking so much that it must have listed really day to one side and the dishes in the kitchen went falling. Everybody was asking for green apples for their seasickness. I have not heard anything since 10PM last night. Does anyone know anybody on that cruise? Hope all is good now.

No but I am really glad that I wasn't sailing on her.

OH, my! We are scheduled to sail on her Nov. 4th. I am anxious to hear the rest of the story!

Googled it and got nothing out of the ordinary, so you'll have to wait for the war stories from the survivors...…and there were no "alerts" from CARNIVAL it looks like they ran into some rough more no less....I did however, by accident discover that CARNIVAL now offers a $60 seafood entrée, and it costs $38 to eat at the steakhouse...sounds outrageous to me...but since we eat at the specialties included, I guess I got no real comment.....sorry that's O/T...but Im gonna watch a ballgame...way mo important at this moment. BTW, were cruising NOV 11 to the W Carib...and were going regardless....but Hurricane season "should" be gone by then.. Stay calm AUNTIE....

Experienced some some rough seas but nothing close to what was described here.

Sounds like it was nothing the crew could not handle.

They may have to pick up some new dishes at the next port though.

While the passengers may have been uncomfortable, they should have known that travelling on the sea during hurricane season, they may hit some rough weather. I am sure the Captain was sure he could keep everyone safe, which is the important thing.

The media does love to exaggerate things on occasion. After all ... how else are they going to sell their wares.

I was on the Glory during hurricane Sandy. Not a very good time, but we managed at the piano bar.

I have found that, in rough seas, if you time your alcohol intake just right, the ship sails as smooth as silk.

Trying the same thing is calm seas, however, sends me off the wall onto the floor!

And it allows you to walk sideways without blaming on a drink or two
