Gatlinburg fires

Devastating fires in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN.  News is slowly coming out.  We have friends whose daughter is honeymooning there.  They have been evacuated to Sevierville.

Off topic, I know, but I figured it might be of interest to some who have visited the area.

I said a prayer this morning for those in Gatlinburg, and surrounding areas  affected by this fire. Hope your friends daughter is safe along with the locals and  firefighters battling this monster. Pray for rain and more rain.

So sad to see the devestation already. There were videos of the fire on the Vancouver BC morning news.

I am wishing wet weather with no wind to help the firefighters and the people caught up in this disaster.  Anyone from that area, please check-in so we know you and yours are OK>

I have visited the area on several occasions.  Sorry to hear about the fires.

Before we started cruising, this was our most frequent getaway place.  I recognize so many of the places they are showing.  We were just there with all the kids and grands in June--I could never have imagined this.

Our church has been praying for them.

This was on our list of places to drive to and stay.  We know so many people who have visited and just rave about it.  I'm very sad for people and wildlife affected by this horrific fire.

We have visited the area before. Not recently, but my husband is from Chattanooga. Lots of friends in the area.

ASHLEBROWN I hope and pray all your friends are safe GOD BLESS ............

FOR GODS SAKE......SAVE THE MOONSHINE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
