Funniest comments overheard on cruise ships

Many of us have cruised for years and therefore collected quite a stash of funny cruise-related stories. But, even if you haven't taken many cruises, there is a good chance that you have overheard fellow passengers utter some real doozies (or maybe you were the utterer).  Let's share a few chuckles... shall we?

Here is an oldie that is still mentioned: "What Time is the Midnightr Buffet?"

Also "Does the crew sleep on board?"

"Does the ship generate its own electricity?"

I'll leave the rest of you to come up with other ones.

Does this elevator go to the front of the ship?

I heard this one asked of an officer on the Island Princess. His Answer " Only on the Enterprise class cruise ships" I think I was the only one who got the pun, because I could not stop laughing---out loud yet.....

LOL!!! That is pretty funny! Kudos to the officer for the witty come back.

We were on a 35 day cruise with 8 sea days at the end. In the middle of the sea days a passenger asked for Fosters lager. The bartender advised him they were out ship wide. The next day as I sat there same passenger/ same bartender. He asks if the Fosters has been restocked. Bartender without missing a beat, No sir the Fosters lager barge is late.

When my sister was working at Guest Services many years ago, a very angry woman came storming up to the counter and demanded that my sister find out where her husband slept the previous evening, and with whom because he hadn't come back to their room.

I like the old: "What do they do with the ice sculptures after they melt?"

My very favorites:

-What in the toilet salt water or fresh?

-And why do you need to know it?

On our first cruise, we joined the check-in line not knowing quite what to expect. The woman in front of us turned around and asked us to save her place. She needed to talk to a cruise line person because, "Those fools confiscated my knives."

I overheard a little lady with a bucketful of quarters in the casino ask "Can I take this money out of the casino?" (No, you have to put it all back into the machines first!)
