I finally scored FTTF after weeks of searching! Now what? Is there something I need to print and bring along with boarding pass? My understanding is we can board earlier with FTTF.

For me, FTTF was a great deal. The FTTF logo should appear on your luggage tags (delivered priority) as well as your boarding pass (Suites/elite/FTTF get a priority check-in). Just print everything up as normal and enjoy the priority treatment.

If you need to talk to passenger service, you use the suite/elite line.

Your room will be ready when you board -- you don't have to wait until 1:30 to go to your room (they may have the fire doors closed with a guard -- just show them your keycard with the FTTF logo!)

Ummm not to sound dumb but what is FTTF ???

Is this something peculiar to one or two cruise lines?

FTTF is "Faster To The Fun". It's $60/per cabin for 7 night cruise. It allows you to board the ship early, your room is ready early along with luggage being delivered to your room early, your own line at customer service (less wait time) and for tender ports, your have priority for getting off the ship. That was my main reason for purchasing. Our cruise has 2 tender ports and we have excursions booked at both. I've heard that getting off the ship to a tender boat can sometimes be a very long wait.

No-No, you weren't alone with that one. Personally, I like to wade into the fun and savor it. Big Smile

Thanks for the explanation.Must be a Carnival only thing which is why I have not heard of it.

We just booked the FTTF for our cruise in October and from what I have read on the review boards about it, it is worth it. You get to by-pass all those in line and go to the short FTTF line to check in, you get on the ship earlier with your room ready for you, tender ports you get first dibs, and by-pass the line up at guest services if you need to use it. Well worth the money if you ask me as I like to go right to my room, drop off my carry on and head for the pool! :)

We treat ourselves to FTTF! We get aboard faster, go to our cabin, enjoy an adult beverage while freshening up & unpacking, take some pics and sniff the ocean breeze on the balcony. It gives you some time to explore without an entire ship full of passengers.

With the larger ships I guess this makes sense. With the smaller ones 2000 - 2500 passengers I would not see the need for this but with the 4000 - 6000 passenger ships I can certainly see this being a good thing

The feature isn't that expensive as only one person in the cabin needs to purchase it and all in the cabin and partake in this FTTF feature. However, a diamond or platinum member gets all FTTF features automatically due to their loyalty level? To be a Diamond member you need 200+ points and a Platinum level needs 75-199 Points. Hey when you think of it, its a small price to pay to cut the loyalty line and you still earn points at the RED level of at least 24 point to be RED. Well if they offer it----take it.

I had my first interaction with the Faster to The Fun at my second job and the one woman said "its just one more thing to pay for I guess" So you might not really reap the benefits until after check in and you are on the boat?
