Does anyone know which food or snacks do they charge you with on board?

It depends on the specific ship (not just the cruise line), but in general you can eat and snack very well without paying anything extra. What did you have in mind?

You pay extra for Johnny Rockets, and specialty coffees on all but very high-end cruise lines. Ice cream is free.

Ice cream from the soft serve machine by the pool is free. For ice cream from Ben & Jerry's, there is a charge. Johnny Rockets is $4.95 per person, but that's for everything -- food, ice cream, shakes -- everything. That's a pretty good deal and everyone seems to enjoy the singing and dancing waiters so a free show, too!
