Found !!!!

while going through a box the other day ( still the move ) I came across some photos and souvenirs from our 2001 cruise on the Victory.  Including our S&S cards.   So now, the only cards that I don't have are from our first and second cruises ( Holiday & Norway ).  Back then we turned our cards in at the end so I don't expect I'll find anything from those two.   Maybe some photos if I'm lucky.

Totally cool!

When I started cruising they didn't have s & s cards.  Glad that you found your treasures.  Now put them in a safe place and don't forget where you put them.

Since we started cruising, we lived in 4 different places. Sadly, a lot of our mementos went out in the do-we-really-need-to-pack-and-move-this-again pile.

That's cool! To me, memories are priceless!

Hope people don't mind me looking through old threads and responding.

Glomarrone, what did they do back then to keep track of everyone on and off the ship in the days before the cards?

I think I have 3 out of 5 of mine.  Not sure where they are.  Probably stuffed in some drawer somewhere.

'The shopping centers hadn't been built up yet, so no one left the ship.

The only S&S cards we do not have are from the Triumph in 2005, when they collected them at the end of the cruise, saying they would mail them (they didn't). We are still uncertain why they were collected, but it seemed the crew was very stressed at debarkation.

I have the majority of our cards, I like saving the the cruise logs they give at the end of the cruise.

We only found this available on Princess Cruise Lines.  I like this feature a lot!
