My doctor prescribed "Scopalimine", it's a patch that you wear behind your earlobe and it helps with motion sickness. Check with your doc and see if he or she recommends this medication for you.

thank you and i will call my doctor tomorrow.

I assume you're doing a Caribbean cruise.   In 20 years I have yet to see an iceberg in the Caribbean.

now, if you're cruising the North Atlantic or Alaska..........

also,  the Titanic sank more as a result of arrogance and poor planning.

Oh, for the sea sickness, some people use Bonine. It's an OTC drug.    Others swear by ginger chews.Happy

enjoy the trip

thank you so much for the information,im excited to experience my first cruise and im praying that i be ok.

I have Meniere's Disease, which can give me vertigo at any time, and stress is a BIG factor.  Plan well and then when you leave home just enjoy! When onboard keep yourself occupied with all the wonderful new things to see and you wil soon forget where you are :)  Happy cruising skat!

I have been on 87 cruises , I have never been sea sick and I never hit a iceberg on any of the ships.....you will be ok......go have a great cruise  :)
