Fighting on cruises

I have been getting info from other sites about fights breaking out on Cruise Ships.

Has anyone experienced this? I believe that on cruises, being a microcosm of any small town, this can happen.

But in experiences, what was the solution, and how did the line handle it?

I have only been on 5 cruises and have yet to see a fight.  Maybe a drunk or two having words but not a brawl.

The only fight I have been privy to is the one in the cabin beside us.  Apparently the missus there did not appreciate the fact that her other half spent all of their money in the casino and they were not sure what they were going to do now.  Lots of slamming doors, and more hollering ensued with a few select words and then eventually crying.

I have never witnessed one or for that matter even heard of one until I saw a news story about one last week that broke out on a Carnival ship. It is a sad that thing to have that happen and ruin peoples vacations. When you think about it all it really takes is a combination of rudeness and a sense of entitlement and sometimes a bit too much alcohol and there seems to be enough of that in the world these days. I hope I never have to witness this kind of stupidity.

I haven't witnessed any fighting on cruise ships, but that kind of behavior is uncalled for, and they should be put off the ship.

I have never witnessed a fight on a cruise ship...As rude as people are sometimes, I refuse to ruin my cruise by punching someone in the face...it doesn't matter how much they deserve it.

Way better than 2 dudes slugging it out for sure!

I've only seen it on YouTube.

I imagine the crew would have already notified the security team, who are standing by.

The offenders are sent to their room without any dinner, and allowed to remain in the next port indefinitely.

We’ve never seen a fight on a cruise ship.  I’d like to think they’re pretty rare.

Luckily I've never seen or heard about a fight occurring while cruising.  We should be happy...we're on vacation.
