Feelings of dread!!!

Cruise is coming up this Saturday on the Grand out of San Francisco.  Each cruise I've gone on I get nervous that something terrible is going to happen and I'll have to cancel.  Sickness, injury, or some U-boat captain out there not knowing the war is over and puts a torpedo into my ship.

Anyone else get those jitters as they get closer to the day?

I do always buy insurance.  Hope I never have to use it.  Does the trip insurance cover my ship getting torpedoed by a U-boat???

My terrors usually revolve around traffic jams that make me late to the airport or getting to the airport only to find I've forgotten my passport. Thankfully - neither has (knock on wood) happened.

I don't totally relax until the ship has sailed (with me on it) :)

No.  I book a hotel for 3 days prior so  I'm already to just shuttle over.  My worry is if I packed enough underwear.  I hate trying to squeeze another day out of a pair by turning them inside out.

Agree :)

Being torpedoed by a left over U-Boat shipper is the least of my worries because the skipper wouldn't be able to see through the periscope. Big Smile Or hitting an iceberg of the coast of Virginia.  I get a no fault/no reason policy just in case there is that ninety something left over rogue U-Boat skipper out.

Todd, you can always wash them out and if you take that little cloths line out of the shower and hang it up on your balcony, you use some paper clips to hang them until dry.

We had it happen as my Dad dies 4 hours before we were to board the plane before a cruise.... yes, I still get the "dread" feeling but I also have the "oh boy, we're going on a cruise" feeling.  I am a mess before a cruise (or any trip for that matter).  My DH says I'm like a gerbil on speed.Wink

After muster drill is when I'm finally relaxed.  My last cruise on the Inspiration was the worse as far as muster drill.  Fortunately after that it was the funnest cruise I've had so far.

I like the muster drill.  I'm on the ship, the ship is sailing and I'm happier than a pig in.......

We always watch the movie TITANIC or POSEIDON ADVENTURE just to get "hopped up" before our cruise
