Favorite snack found in a cruise port

Talk of snacks on ships led to talk of snacks in ports.  From straw markets or food trucks to sidewalk cafes or walk-up windows, what are the best quick treats you’ve found while in port?  Include photos if you can!

I'd have to go with the fresh made hot toffee peanuts in London......... but that is kind of street food.

I can not forget the fried, breaded stuffed olives in Italy..... a great little pizza shop next to the Castro Pretorio sub way stop.   It was on the way from the subway to the hotel and open late.  I'd stop in after a night out and get the friend olives on the way back to hotel almost every night.  Some nights I'd switch off and get Pizza.  (yes I put on a few pounds when in Italy,  I thinned back down after I got home)

I had forgotten about shaved Ice..... I loved those when I was in the islands 30 years ago.

Coconut water right from the shell can be hit or miss, but you can’t go wrong with a local rum drink served in a coconut! Big Smile
