Excursions for Eastern Caribbean

Looking for reasonable excursions during our 7 day cruise any suggestions?

Beach excursions are always good unless the weather is poor.

Post which ports you have and there are probably some members around here that would be able to offer suggestions.

Lots to do...what ports are you going to?

In San Juan there is a lot to do without buying a shore tour, if you like to see historical sights. The Forts are within walking distance and the downtown area in Old San Juan (it should be mostly repaired by your visit) has interesting places for food and drink. St. Thomas was once the shopping Mecca in Caribbean and still has some terrific bargains. We usually take the "gondola" up and look at all the Islands that you might visit on any cruise. Check out the shore tours offered by Carnival and you will get a feel for what each island has to offer. Enjoy!

A walk about where the ship docks and the free hop on hop off trolley is good to use to explore San Juan.

With SJ, I found a self-guided walking tour was great. Found a few nice shops and restaurants that I would have missed otherwise.

If you are going to St Thomas, you can catch the ferry to St John's and see some of the same gorgeous views you see on House Hunters.

I don't know what condition SJ rain forest is in after the hurricane, but we really enjoyed that excursion.
