going on Mariner next May.12 night med and egypt, israel.Need some advice.Regarding excursions in Israel and Egypt .Are tours readily avaiable when we dock in Ashdod and Alexandria or wold the best thing to do is go with Royal Carib which seem a little expensive.
Looking forward to hearing from you all
I think it depends on your usual style of travel and what you're comfortable with. If you cruise and usually walk off the ship and find a tour operator or tour guide and you're confident doing that, then like eaton said, just use common sense. But, from your question it sounds like you would like to book something ahead of time, just not pay a high price. I would look at the site CruiseProfessor posted.
@CruiseProfessor, great web site. Going to peek at the blog you mentioned.
It says if you cancel 14 days or later you do not get refunds ...
...so if the boat goes to another port... what happens than? They are offering a excursion $40 cheaper then Carnival one for the Belize tubing that I'd like to take advantage of as Carnival wants to charge 102.95.
But if there is bad weather and the boat goes to another port we'd be out of $$ with this website if I read it right? Can someone verify?
This is our first cruise and we are doing it back to back western/eastern on same boat end of Aug beginning of Sept
They are in Jackson, MS.
